Khoobsurat is an unusual but relatable love story of Aradhya (Soumya Seth) who is beautiful bubbly naïve free willed girl who falls in love with a voice of Madhav (Rohit Khuranna) who is an introvert and shy person who suffers from a strong complex due to his ugly looks and his best friend, Rahul (Abhishek Malik) an extremely good looking man who can make any girl go weak in her knees.
Aaradhya is a woman who believes that there is a Prince Charming who is waiting for her. She believes that he would be a really good looking man. She believes in fate that her beauty deserves someone equally handsome. Aradhya is deeply in love with Ehsaas, a charmer by heart and an exceptionally talented radio jockey who, through his show, brightens up Aradhya’s day and puts a smile on her face.
Ehsas is just a fictitious name- the radio jockey's real name is Madhav. Madhav, unlike what Aaradhya thinks of him, is not good looking. He is quite average looking and is really introverted as well.
Rahul is the perfect guy next door- he is simple, funny, confident and quite good looking as well. He lived orphaned childhood and he was adopted by Madhav's family. But life did not take a good turn for Rahul, even after that. Madhav's mother hates Rahul because he overshadows her own son - Madhav.
