Drashti Dhami reacts to pregnancy rumours; Read EXCLUSIVE details! (By Medsuper) (Thanked: 8 times)

Drashti Dhami, who got married to businessman Neeraj Khemka on February 21, 2015, completed two years of marital bliss, this year. Soon, rumours about her being pregnant started doing the rounds. It was being said that the couple is expecting their first baby in a few months. However, when we contacted Drashti she refuted the reports by saying, “It’s not true.”

Drashti and Neeraj dated each other for good six years before they finally embraced matrimony. The two got married in a Hindu wedding ceremony in Mumbai, two years back. They are madly in love with each other and often go out on vacations together. In an earlier interview, she had confessed that life has become much easier for her after marriage as her husband and in-laws are quite supportive of her career.

“My in-laws are very supportive. Before marriage, while I was dating, I used to be really stressed out thinking that I had to spend time with family and meet Neeraj (husband). But now it’s a little relaxed because no matter what time I go back home, I get to spend time with him and his family. I meet my mom very often too. There are times I reach home late and if my father-in-law doesn’t meet me for three days, I get a message from him “Missing you, haven’t seen you for three days. My mother-in-law loves me very much, whether it’s onscreen, offscreen or pulling her son’s hair (laughs). But my mom is very critical of me. I received a message from my mother, saying, ‘I am so proud of you and impressed that you have become such a good actress.’ This was the real compliment because she can really cribs about me (laughs) [sic],” Drashti told Rediff.

Drashti Dhami began her career with a music video called Saiyyan Dil Mein Aana. But she rose to fame with Dill Mill Gaye. She was next seen in Geet Hui Sabse Parayi which brought in immense popularity for the actress. Her next big break was in Madhubala – Ek Ishq Ek Junoon, where she played the title role opposite TV actor Vivian Dsena. The fans loved their jodi. Drashti next starred in Zee TV’s show Ek Tha Raja Ek Thi Rani. The audience heaped praises on her but Drashti quit the show within less than a year. More recently, Drashti was seen in Star Plus’ Pardes Mein Hai Mera Dil, where the actress essayed the role of a modern-day woman.
